Directors and Officers Insurance (D&O) applies to company directors, senior executives, managers or officers, of companies, charities, boards or committees. It offers protection from from certain personal liabilities which may be incurred in post as a result of professional negligence, default, breach of duty, or trust.
It pays legal defence costs and, where appropriate, any final settlement or compensation award in actions brought by shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers or any other third party.
